Privacy Policy

JobLedger is an operations and billing application for managing clients, projects, estimates, daily logs, materials, charges, invoices, and invoice email sending.

We collect account information such as email address and name when available through authentication. Authorized users may enter client, project, site, estimate, invoice, daily log, task, supplier, material, and charge data. We collect Gmail connection data only when a user chooses to connect Gmail.

JobLedger uses Google OAuth and the Gmail API only to send invoice emails that the user reviews and approves. JobLedger uses the Gmail send-only permission: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send.

JobLedger does not read, search, modify, delete, or manage the user's Gmail inbox, labels, threads, or existing messages. JobLedger may store encrypted OAuth tokens server-side to enable sending invoice emails. Users can disconnect Gmail from Email Settings.

JobLedger's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use information to provide and operate JobLedger, manage clients, projects, estimates, and invoices, generate PDFs, send invoice emails when authorized by the user, maintain security, and troubleshoot issues.

We may share information with service providers necessary to operate the app, such as hosting, database/authentication, and email/API providers. We share invoice email content and attachments with email recipients when users send invoice emails. We may share information as required by law. We do not sell personal information.

JobLedger is an access-controlled application. Gmail OAuth tokens are stored encrypted server-side. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Business records are retained as needed for operations. Users can disconnect Gmail from Email Settings. Users may request deletion of information where applicable.

JobLedger is not intended for children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
